The revenues worth 326.7 million manats were obtained as a result of rendering mobile communication services in Azerbaijan in January-May 2017, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Trend.
The revenues of the mobile communication sector increased by 1.1 percent in January-May 2017 compared to January-May 2016.
Information and communication services worth 676.2 million manat were rendered for Azerbaijan's population and organizations in January-May 2017, which is by 4.9 percent more than in January-May 2016.
Thus, 81.3 percent of income obtained through the communication sector accounted for the non-state enterprises in January-May 2017.
Of the total volume of information and communication services 72 percent accounted for the services rendered to the population.
Thus, 48.3 percent of revenues of the whole telecommunication market accounted for the revenues of the mobile communication sector.
