Azerbaijani mobile operator Azercell Telecom LLC has launched the Signed Call service, a source in the country’s telecommunications market told Trend.
The service allows assigning a signature for the calls, and the call recipient will see the caller’s signature along with the phone number.
“In this case, the caller’s signature is displayed on the recipient mobile phone’s screen, even if the number isn’t registered in the phone book. The service will be interesting for corporate users, who can register the name of their companies when calling,” said the source.
To use the service, it is necessary to send an SMS to 5111, after which a message is sent to confirm that the service has been activated. For the signature to be displayed when calling, it is necessary to dial *5*, followed by the called number, which will look as follows: *5*050xxx-xx-xx. The monthly subscription fee for the service is 1.99 Azerbaijani manats.
