Russia to support development of Azerbaijani staff’s potential in nuclear physics

Three employees of Azerbaijan's National Nuclear Research Center CJSC will continue training in the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute with the support of Russia’s State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, the company told Trend Oct. 31.

"Our employees have already passed all stages of the contest and they will be enrolled in the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute in the coming days," the company said. “All training costs will be covered by Rosatom.”

“The training of our employees in this institute is of particular importance for the development of potential of Azerbaijani staff in nuclear physics,” the company said.

The Azerbaijani president signed the order on the establishment of the National Nuclear Research Center under the country’s Ministry of Communications and High Technologies for the use of nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes on May 8, 2014.

The main purpose of the center is to carry out complex measures in nuclear science, technologies and power engineering, including the development of nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes.
