Azerbaijani mobile operator Azercell Telecom is technically ready to deploy Mobile Finances Services (MFS), the company told Trend.
The service can not be launched due to the lack of legal regulation, the company said.
"The relevant law is expected to be adopted in this sphere and once it is adopted, we will immediately launch MFS for our subscribers," the company said.
The launch of the service requires big investments, while the income of the operator will not be very big.
MFS will make it possible to pay for goods and services, as well as transfer money within Azerbaijan and outside it. It will be possible to connect to the service without changing the Sim card.
