Azerbaijan's mobile communication operator Azercell LLC will renew the "personal cabinet" available to subscribers via the corporate website www.azercell.com , the company told Trend Dec. 29.
As for the innovation, the users will be able to independently control which services the subscriber number is connected to.
"Subscribers will be able to activate or deactivate services that they do not need, which is an important feature of the service,” the company said. “The new service will be offered to mobile communication operators in the near future."
Currently, the company provides the opportunity to use or refuse from getting advertising or information messages, as well as choose the type of services and other criteria.
Subscribers can send the word "STOP" to a short number 5010 (free of charge) to refuse from receiving advertising or information messages, which are sent from different short numbers of content providers.
However, there are cases when subscribers are interested in receiving such messages because thanks to these messages they get information about campaigns, discounts, profitable offers from shopping centers and other services.
For this purpose, Azercell provides its subscribers with an opportunity to filter incoming messages from short numbers and receive only the desired messages. Subscribers can make a list of brands in which they are interested. A subscriber should send the name of the desired brand to the short number 5010 (free of charge). One should send the word "START" to the short number 5010 to delete the list and restore advertising or information messages.
