The Strategic Plan for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Azerbaijan’s Industrial Sector, developed by the ICT Commission of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs, will be implemented on the basis of priorities set forth in the “Strategic Road Map for the development of ICT” approved by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Commission Chairman Ismail Alakbarov told Trend Jan. 9.
He said that the work to be carried out in this direction will be coordinated by a working group established in December last year, which included representatives of various structures.
“In the near future, the working group will meet to discuss implementation of the work planned within the approved strategic road maps,” Alakbarov said. “As for the ICT Commission, its meetings are held in the planned order.”
Such aspects as export promotion, manufacture of competitive products, attraction of new technologies, development of human resources and so on were outlined in the strategic plan for the development of ICT, which was being prepared by the Commission.
