The Institute of Control Systems of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences conducts scientific research on monitoring of the state of cardiovascular system using the Robust Noise Monitoring (RNM) technology, a source familiar with the project told Trend.
This envisages carrying out experiments using RNM, the use of which in medicine allows listening to airway sounds, heartbeats and receiving evaluation information about the presence of problems in the human respiratory system.
Previously, the Institute’s scientists conducted experimental work on using this technology in medicine, and the obtained results are quite encouraging.
Scientists of the Institute developed software algorithms for using RNM technology via mobile devices. This is a special program that will allow monitoring of the asymptomatic period of cardiovascular diseases using a mobile phone.
“The results of ongoing research work on the project can be announced by the middle of this year,” added the source.
