By Huseyn Valiyev – Trend:

Certain schools in Ukraine will reportedly be implementing Azerbaijan-made online School Management and Learning System (SMLS).

The program will be implemented in all schools of Irpin city in Kiev Oblast of Ukraine, technical director of the project Farid Jafarov told Trend.

A total number of students in Irpin is about 10,000, according to Jafarov.

SMLS enables to form an online-platform of an educational facility, helping to simplify process of education and learning. System also makes it possible to create communication between parties of the educational process and to get fast access to libraries.

Based on his decision, every teacher can plan the educational process by the use of own “cyberportfolio”, make assessments, keep a register and create announcements, which will be immediately available for students and their parents.

SMLS also reduces time needed for a student to find a required tutorial, because all the necessary methodological materials become available in a “cyberportfolio” of the student.

Parents on their part are able to control the education process of their children online using SMLS.

“SMLS has been implemented in one of the high schools of Kiev Oblast recently. On top of that, three more public schools expressed willingness to sign a contract and start to work with us from March. Increase of connection numbers made it necessary to open a legal representative office of Azerbaijani Cyber Education company in Ukraine,” – Jafarov added.

A contract on SMLS implementation was signed with Novopecherska school of Kiev in December 2017, and beginning with February 2018 both students and their parents will be able to enjoy all advantages of the system, according to Jafarov.

A server base was established in school, several tutorials were organized for teachers, and the system itself has been localized to Ukrainian.
