Azerbaijan’s Teleradio Production Union of Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has announced a tender for the purchase and installation of equipment to create a backup digital TV network in the regions and ensure the HD broadcast of local TV channels in Baku and Absheron, the tender commission of the company announced on Feb. 27.
The tender is held on two lots:
- Lot No.1: purchase of spare parts (modulators, filters and software) for transition of analogue transmitters to the digital format with aim of creating a backup network.
- Lot No.2: purchase and installation of 31 TVK, RMS 2.5 – 3 kilowatts DVB-T/T2 digital transmitter on Baku TV Tower to ensure HD broadcast of state and private TV channels in Baku and Absheron.
The tender participation fee on the first lot is 300 euros, on the second lot - 350 euros.
The bids with a bank guarantee in the amount of two percent of the bid volume must be submitted till 17:00 April 20, 2018.
The bids will be opened on 11:00 April 23.
