Komtec is installing the first MilliÖN payment terminal in Jojug Marjanli village, liberated from Armenian occupation, in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil District, the company told Trend March 19.
The terminal will begin to operate on March 20, the company said.
"This is the first payment terminal installed in the village, through which the population will easily pay for utilities and make other payments,” the company said. “The number of terminals may be increased in the future."
MilliÖN network consists of approximately 5,000 payment points installed in public places (business centers, waiting rooms of railway stations and airports, shopping centers).
Presently, e-GovPay, eManat, ExpressPay, ASAN Odenis, Easypay, Pulpay and payment terminals of the International Bank of Azerbaijan are also available in Azerbaijan.
