Azerbaijan's State Oil and Industry University plans to launch its own e-commerce platform by late 2018, a source close to the project told Trend on April 30.
It is planned to sell developments of the university students via this platform, the source said.
"Presently, a number of start-ups are undergoing improvement, after which mass production will be launched. The finished products will be sold through the e-commerce platform," the source said.
Among the products that are being improved, the source cited products based on touch technologies, solutions in the field of alternative energy, a physical keyboard Smart keyboard, etc.
"Besides this, the e-commerce platform will also sell software solutions developed by the university students," the source said.
