New incubation center to support IT projects established in Baku

A new "Tecnovate" incubation center to support innovative projects was established in Baku, head and founder of the center Farid Ismayilzade told Trend May 3.

Ismayilzade noted that the center will provide financial and advisory support to innovative projects with real potential to enter the global market.

"The center already has the first residents, and these are the "Frogo" and "Spinal" projects. Besides these, there are also another four applicant projects," said Ismailzade.

The projects of the incubation center will have an opportunity to participate in various competitions, and to undergo training with the participation of foreign industry experts.

The center with a total area of 90 square meters is located on the 12th floor of the Globus Center business center in Baku.

The residents of the center will be provided with the necessary technical support (computer equipment and Internet access). Only promising projects with the potential to enter the global market can qualify for assistance from the incubation center.
