By results of evaluation,two participants of the “AppLab” program have occupied 1st and 2nd places of the local championship, under the “Startup” nomination.
The winner project is “Run2Help” - a mobile app that counts the amount of steps a user makes every day and then converts it into money, which can be donated to any participating fund.
The team of “Run2Help” project will take part in the international final of “Golden Byte 2018”, which will take place on 19-20 of May 2018 in Kiyev, Ukraine. Second place holder is the “BuilDay” project – an app which allows organizing events in specified locations and invite people to join them.
The International “Golden Byte” IT championship consists of the regional qualifying and regional final stages, and gathers together over 10 thousand contestants from 10 countries. Regional Final in Azerbaijan, organized by the “Step IT Academy” has taken place on 04 of May 2018. Projects, which have passed the 2 semi-final stages have been presented and evaluated by the jury, composed of representatives of local and international companies.
Note that the International “Golden Byte” championship was established in the year 2008 by STEP IT Academy. Main sponsor of this year’s regional “Golden Byte” final is “AzerTelecom” company.
