The Wallet One international payment system has ceased its activities in Azerbaijan, the company told Trend May 23.
The company said that according to the decision of the executive staff, the company's activities were discontinued from May 1. The reason - presence of a large number of similar systems in the country.
Wallet One launched its activity in Azerbaijan in early 2017, offering online payment services through its "e-wallet".
The representative office of Wallet One in Azerbaijan operated under the franchise scheme.
Currently, Wallet One's divisions operate in 13 countries (the US, Poland, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia, China, South Africa, Zambia and Mozambique).
