Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, Iran's Minister of Information and Communications Technology, said the country is exploring ways to enhance bilateral cooperation with its neighboring nations in the information and communications technology sector.

“We have started exchanging capacities with our neighbors (in the field of ICT),” Azari Jahromi said in response to a question by Trend’s correspondent on July 29 on the sidelines of ELECOMP 2018 underway in Tehran.

Jahromi added that expansion of bilateral cooperation with neighbors in the information and communications technology sector has been one of the main reasons behind organizing the international exhibition of ELECOMP 2018.

The 24th edition of ELECOMP was opened in the Iranian capital on Saturday with Azari Jahromi and representatives from local and foreign firms in attendance.

The event will come to an end on July 31.

According to reports, foreign companies, startups, governmental bodies, and Iranian game developers are displaying their products at ELECOMP Games.

The 24th edition of ELECOMP provides an exceptional opportunity to the activists of this sector inside the country and abroad to boost their business through establishing strong business links with their counterparts.
