Facebook users in Azerbaijan may be able to make payments through their own accounts as early as next year, a source close to the project told Trend Aug. 30.
This innovation will be tested by one of the Azerbaijani banks, the name of which was not disclosed yet, the source said.
"The service will be tested next year," the source said.
The project will compete with the existing payment systems and mobile applications in the country, as the vast majority of internet users spend more time in social networks.
