The regular 54th meeting of the Council of Heads of Communication Administrations (CA) of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC) will be held Dec. 3 in Baku, on the eve of the 24th international exhibition and conference BakuTel 2018, which will be held Dec. 4-7, the RCC said in a statement.
This decision was made at the 53rd meeting of the Council of Heads of the RCC CAs and the 24th meeting of the Coordination Council of the CIS member states on informatization attached to the RCC, which was held Oct. 9-10 in Turkmenistan.
The delegation of Azerbaijan at the event was represented by Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan Elmir Velizade.
The communication administration of Azerbaijan took part in the discussions on promising areas of activity of the RCC member countries in digital development. In the exchange of views on the issue, the participants discussed priority tasks and ways of digital development.
Another important item on the agenda was the issue of preparing the RCC CAs for the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2018 (PP-18).
