Huawei alongside with Tashkent University of Information Technologies, launched the HAINA project in 2016, as part of which students and teachers receive practices on the training and retraining of ICT knowledge, Huawei told Trend in an interview.

Moreover, Huawei stressed that for many years, the company has been cooperating with TUIT and has been carrying out a number of educational projects. Another such global project is the “Seeds for the Future” program where TUIT students have been sent for internships in China to the company's headquarters for the last 4 years.

The company noted that the next phase in the implementation of the Academy’s activities is the training of specialists who do not have basic knowledge in the field of ICT and telecommunications, but who need to have basic knowledge on topics such as cyber security, data center management, large data and so on in their professional activities.

For them, Huawei offers its training modules, as well as facilitates free trainings for trainers who will later teach young talents the knowledge demanded in the ICT market.

Huawei stated that today the field of telecommunications is developing dynamically and many technological solutions are being updated with great speed. Based on this, telecom operators and companies working in the ICT sector are in dire need of new specialists with modernized skills. Unfortunately, educational institutions are a little behind the introduction of classes on the study of innovative technologies in their academic calendar, so Huawei offers universities and government agencies to develop joint training courses and training modules to save time, resources and quickly train popular professionals on the market.

The company noted that any country that has chosen the path of modernization and innovative development will not be able to carry out a full-fledged transformation without timely training of qualified personnel. Huawei, as part of its corporate responsibility, deeply understands the need to contribute to the development and training of specialists in ICT field.

Furthermore, Huawei stressed the need to create and use environmentally efficient technologies.

So, Huawei joined the UN Global Compact in 2004 and provides high-tech solutions, helping global operators to reduce consumption and consumption of natural gas. At the global level, the company: Increased the energy efficiency of basic products by an average of 20 percent, which makes them one of the most energy-efficient in the industry; passed certification of UL110 of the highest level of environmental friendliness for 5 models of mobile phones; produced 17 million kWh of clean energy using installations based on solar panels.

Huawei noted that the company in Uzbekistan operates in three main areas - providing telecommunications solutions for fixed and mobile operators, providing solutions for the corporate segment that covers the public sector, large enterprises, telecommunications integrators, and the third direction is the terminal segment.

For more than 19 years, Huawei has been offering innovative solutions for the development of ICT infrastructure in the Uzbek market, which allowed Uzbekistan to be one of the first in the CIS region to implement pilot projects and test 3G and LTE networks. Nowadays, Uzbekistan has a great potential to raise ICT development to a new level, and Huawei is always ready to support the country's leadership in this endeavor.
