Azerbaijan’s ASAN Service centers rendered over 33 million services to citizens from January to September 2019, chairman of the Azerbaijani State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev said.

Mehdiyev made the remarks in Baku at the third international forum "Digital Trade Hub: Digitalization of the Silk Road" organized by the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication in Baku, Trend reports.

“The projects on the development of e-services and the transition to digitalization of governmental structures are being implemented in Azerbaijan today to ensure the exchange of information among the state agencies safely, as well as the integration of information systems,” the chairman added.

“In particular, a citizen’s personal account was launched on the basis of the myGov platform in June 2019,” Mehdiyev said. “The infrastructure of e-government has also been modernized.”

The event was held through the support of AzerTelecom, B.EST Solutions, Caspian Audit and sponsorship of PASHA Bank. About 200 delegates from the US, Israel, Russia, UK, Estonia and other countries took part in the forum.
