Azerbaijan's satellite communications operator intends to expand its activity

Azercosmos OJSC, Azerbaijan’s satellite communications operator, will have opportunity to expand its activity in the Middle East and Africa regions after participating in CABSAT-2020 exhibition, Trend reports referring to the company.

Azercosmos will participate at the CABSAT-2020 International Conference Exhibition to be held in Dubai from March 31 through April 2, 2020, the company said.

As reported, the CABSAT exhibition is a platform allowing Azercosmos to establish a new and efficient cooperation in the satellite service market, where a serious competition exists.

"It’s already the seventh year that Azercosmos has its booth at the CABSAT exhibition in Dubai. The exhibition attendants will be also shown our activity as well as Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2 services," the company added.

The CABSAT exhibition is the Middle East, Africa & South Asia region’s largest broadcast, digital media and satellite event. Along with workshops and conferences dedicated to new television and telecommunication trends, the exhibition showcases products and services offered by each participating company.

Azercosmos’ export portfolio for telecommunication satellites includes leading companies of the countries such as the US, the UK, France, Germany, Malaysia, which cover various regions.
