Android operating system's share in Azerbaijani market grows

The share of the Android operating system in the Azerbaijani market amounted to 48.21 percent in October 2020, having increased by 11.58 percentage points over the month, Trend reports citing the StatCounter’s Global Stats report.

As reported, the Windows operating system (Microsoft) ranks second with a share of 38.04 percent, which monthly decreased by 8.53 percent.

Apple's operating system iOS remains in third place, the share of which decreased by 1.45 percentage points for the month and amounted to 8.86 percent.

IOS is followed by the less popular operating systems in the country: macOS X (Apple) with a share of 2.4 percent; Linux - its share increased by 0.25 percent to 0.91 percent; and other operating systems – 0.94 percent.
