Azerbaijan to be provided with robot equipment through Start IT center

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30

By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:

Currently, ensuring data protection in robots that are produced in Azerbaijan is one of the most important production processes, Azer Sanili, co-founder of the Start IT educational center, told Trend on March 30.

“Security is also important for other big companies, oil, gas, or ICT companies,” the co-founder added.

"Every year, security enterprises pass audits and receive the appropriate certificates,” Sanili said. “The companies are trying to produce robots that will meet all safety standards. Otherwise, they will not pass international certification and their products will be unable to enter the international market."

“The most correct investments are those that are made in human capital,” the co-founder said.

"Investments in specialists make a great contribution to the future development of the defense industry, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Azercosmos OJSC and other relevant structures," Sanili added.

“The additional investments in training and traditional education, as well as improving the quality of education, organizing various exhibitions and experience exchange programs for specialists in the ICT sector in Azerbaijan will provide our country with strong personnel in the field of information technologies,” Sanili said.

"Presently, there is practically no production of robotics in our country which is used exclusively for educational purposes,” the co-founder said. “To ensure this, our center cooperates with the leading world companies to supply appropriate equipment and order the parts from our international partners. The solutions of international partners meet the requirements of all international safety and quality standards."

“The emergence of a new sector of activity must become a part of it, rather than avoid it out of fear of risks,” the co-founder said.

"There is a tendency towards robotization in the world,” the co-founder said. “It is necessary not to avoid this, but to become a part of it, support the process and go along the path of development together."
