Germany considers introducing advanced technologies in Uzbekistan

Ministers of Uzbekistan and Germany discussed further widespread introduction of advanced German technologies in various spheres of the economy of Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to the press service of the prime minister of Uzbekistan.

On June 15 of this year, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov met with Minister-President of the Federal State of Bavaria Markus Söder in the format of a video conference.

Söder noted that he supports economic reforms and transformations being carried out in Uzbekistan, headed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of consistent implementation of agreements following the visit of the head of Uzbekistan to Germany, in particular Bavaria, and further development of bilateral cooperation.

Also, during the meeting, attention was focused on strengthening trade, economic and investment cooperation, further widespread introduction of advanced German technologies in various spheres of the economy of Uzbekistan, opening high-tech enterprises in Uzbekistan together with German companies, expanding cooperation in the social and humanitarian sphere.

In addition, the parties considered the issue of holding the next meeting of the Uzbek-German Council of Entrepreneurs in Munich.
