BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 22. Azerbaijan produced computer equipment and electronics worth 81.7 million manat ($48.05 million) in first five months 2022, which is 4.4 percent or 3.8 million manat ($2.2 million) less than the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the report of Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, production of computers, electronic and optical products in Azerbaijan decreased in quantitative terms by 4.3 percent, and electrical equipment increased by 56.7 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
The retail trade turnover of these products amounted to 205.5 million manat ($120.8 million) in the reporting period of 2022, which is 98 million manat ($57.6 million) or 91.1 percent more than in first months 2021.
