BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 18. The revenues from Azerbaijan’s mobile communication and information services reached 2.743 billion manat ($1.6 billion) in 2022, the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan told Trend.
This figure increased by 358.6 million manat ($211.03 million), or 14.8 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
A total of 38 percent (1.043 billion manat or $613.8 million) of total revenues accounted for the telecommunications market (mobile operators) in 2022.
During this period, services rendered to the population made up 73.5 percent of total communication and information services (2.02 billion manat, $1.18 billion).
Following the 2021 results, receipts of the country's mobile operators totaled $2.384 billion manat ($1.4 billion), increasing by 6.1 percent.
