BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 7. The revenues from Azerbaijan’s mobile communication and information services reached 229.9 million manat ($135.1 million) in January 2023, the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan told Trend.
This figure increased by 17.2 percent compared to the same period of 2022.
A total of 40.1 percent (92.2 million manat or $54.17 million) of total revenues accounted for the telecommunications market (mobile operators) in the reporting month.
During this period, services rendered to the population made up 72 percent of total communication and information services (165.5 million manat or $97.2 million).
Following the 2022 results, receipts of the country's mobile operators totaled $2.7 billion manat ($1.58 billion), increasing by 14.8 percent compared to 2021.
