The World Post Union (WPU) approved a new project, aimed at the technical assistance to the post communication of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic (NAR).
The project has been developed jointly by the Ministry of Communications (MCIT) and the WPU, under which purchasing of over 10 computers and 2 motor cars for the postal services are envisioned, the post department of the of MCIT told Trend.
MCIT has also underlined that the project cost is $30,000 and the funds for the project financing will be allocated by the WPU.
The decision to implement such a project has been taken during the last visit of the WPU regional advisor to Azerbaijan. В"The project implementation will be launched in the current October”, MCIT concluded.
