NEW AIR CONTROL FACILITIES TO BE PUT INTO EXPLOITATION IN SEP

New air control facilities will be put into exploitation in Ali-Bayramli and Guba in September 2005.

The work is in final stage and appropriate technique will be installed soon, Adil Mahsimov, the representative of the State Department for Radio Frequency (SDRF), told Trend.

Mahsimov also noted that devices for the facilities, particularly, radio receivers for air control, transmitters, have been purchased from the Japanese �AOR’ company.

Touching upon the construction of the 3rd air control facility in the settlement Sahil, Baku, the representative of the SDRF said that there was some lag in the implementation of the work. “But despite the lag, the object will be put into exploitation in the 3rd quarter of 2005,” he added.

The composition of the staff of the new facilities was confirmed and they passed trainings.

The estate on the construction of the radio air control facilities in Baku, Ali-Bayramli and Guba was adopted in March 2005.

The construction of the air control facilities in Baku, Ali-Bayramli and Guba is part of plans of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry for 2005.
