Till the end of the current year completion of works on reconstruction of the Masalli central Automatic Telephone Exchange are planned to complete. Unsealing of tender bids announced to this end in Masalli Telecommunications Exchange took place lately, the Aztelekom Production Unit (PU) told Trend.
PU noted, 3 foreign IT- companies are interested in implementation of the tender. The winner of the tender, with which signing of the relevant agreement is planned will be identified during 10 days.
The enterprises interested in the tender are to transfer the sum in the amount of $2500 and submit their proposals till 18 August.
Along with these actions works on the complete transition to the electronic system of Naftalaln and Geranboy Telephone Exchanges launched, which is planned to accomplish during the current year.
The above-mentioned works are carried out in accordance with the state program on socio-economic development of the regions for 2004-2008, as well as the action plan of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies for 2005.
