“The meeting of internet-providers will be held in Baku on 10 November with participation of the Regulative body of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry to discus the situation around the Azeronline Ltd. joint venture,” Ali Abbasov, the Communications and Information Technologies Minister, stated on Wednesday, Trend reports.
According to Abbasov, Azeronline Ltd. placed 21 providers into difficult position decreasing tariffs. “We seek gradual tariff decrease. Sharp decrease by one provider will evolve problems for others. It will allow to establish monopoly and force out other operators from market, that will have negative impact on development of internet,” he noted.
Abbasov also underlined that increase of telephone operators of РЎDMA standard will not cause problems.
