From January to September the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) rendered services to enterprises, organizations and the population in the amount of 7206.6m manats ($1.5m), or 20.9% more as compared 2004. A total of 5075m manats ($1.1m) fall to the population, or 23.7% more as compared 2004.
The representative office said that the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry laid 1,000 telephone lines in the Nakhchivan AR over this period.
Besides, the number of the employees in the communications enterprises in the Nakhchivan AR comprised 1,000, or 12% more as compared 2004. The salary increased by 41% as compared 2004 and made up 572,200 manats (around $125).
