The Aztelekom Producing Unit (PU) announced tender on 2 lots: reconstruction of the Astara Central Automatic Telephone Exchange and reconstruction of the rural telephone network in Archivan and Mashhan, the enterprise told Trend.
The companies concerned are to submit their proposals till 13 February to the Astara Telecommunication Centre (TCC). The tender procedure will be held on 14 February in the Astara TCC building.
Last year similar tenders were announced on reconstruction of communication in Naftalan, Geranboy, Masallai, Hachmaz, Agdjabedi and other districts.
The communication reconstruction measures are implemented under the state program on socio-economic development of regions for 2004-2008, as well as according to the state program on the information-communication technologies development in the country for 2005-2008.
