The Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry held a meeting of the coordinating council on the state program on development of the communications and information technologies for 2005-2008 (Electron Azerbaijan), Trend reports referring to a news release spread by the Ministry on Monday
In accordance with the 1st item of the Presidents decree, the Communications Ministry is the coordinating body of the state program. The Ministry established a coordinating council under the chairmanship of Iltimas Mammadov, the deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies, to implement the state program.
At the meeting Mammadov informed the participants of the event about the measures, taken in the framework of the state program, approved for the implementation of the national strategy on development of the communications and information technologies in Azerbaijan for 2003-2012.
