The Ministry of Communications an Information Technologies of Azerbaijan (MCIT) works over preparation of a number of inter-governmental agreements on cooperation in the communication field. For the moment, drafts of such agreements with the Russian Federation, Latvia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Rumania, Finland, Canada, Japan, Indonesia have been alreday submitted to relevant bodies for coordinating.
Along with this, signing of documents on cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, India and memorandum with the US Trade Minsitry is propposed.
It should be noted, inter-governmental agreements in communications and ICT sphere were signed in 2005 with Pakistan, Moldova, Italy, memorandums on understanding with China, Egypt, the German Society В"Initiative D21В" and inter-governemntal protocols with Kazakhstan, Turkey and Russia.
