The Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry addressed to the Milli Majlis [Parliament] and the Cabinet of Ministers in relation to discussion of establishment of free economic zone in IT (technological park). The Ministry work on preparation of legal base on establishment of scientific incubators, Trend reports.
The work is carried our by special working group, formed from the specialists of the Ministry.
The Ministry also holds negotiations with some international organizations and companies, including, EBRD, Ernst & Young, Cisco, ATД°B in this regard.
In accordance with the state program on development communications and information technologies in Azerbaijan for 2005-2008, technological parks are envisaged to be established till 2008.
