Azerbaijan will participate in the 22nd meeting of the commission on post communications of the Regional Commonwealth in communications (PCC) and 11th meeting of the Council of Operators of PCC communications. Novruz Mammadov, the head of the Post Department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, will take part in the gathering to be held in Riga on 21 April 2006, Trend reports.
Riga will also host an international seminar on 19-20 April 2006 for representatives of PCC on the topic Development of markets and post services". Mammadov will make a presentation on the project implemented with the World Bank on the improvement to the post network of the country.
The previous meetings held in Paris in December focused on delegations of PCC communications administrations and Subhan Kazimov, the deputy general director of Azerpocht, represented Azerbaijan in the gathering.
