The Information Technologies Institute of (ITI) the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences has held a meeting with the professors and students of the Architecture and Construction University. The goal of the meeting is to discuss the state of IT in Azerbaijan, application of IT technologies in the education institutions of the country, Trend reports.
In his remarks, Rasim Aliguliyev, the head of the Information Technologies Institute, said the establishment of information society required close participation of young personnel.
He mentioned significance of doing practical work by students at ITI and informed the participants of the meeting on the history of ITI. He also said the institute was a member of the project Virtual Silk Way by the Scientific Committee of NATO. The institute renders permanent network services to some scientific-research organizations.
