In 2006 Azerbaijan plans to start application of money transfer with some countries via MTF/STEFI system. Azerbaijan intends to cooperate with Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and France in this sphere during 2006, the press service of the Ministry told Trend.
Р'The money transfer is planned to be set with the United Arab Emirates soon. The Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry has already presented an agreement to UAE for signing.
From September the Ministry carries out bilateral money transfer with Moldova via this system. Besides, Azerbaijan carries out such transfer with Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Azerbaijan first joined the system in October 2004.
