Information Technologies Institute of Azerbaijan (ITI) with the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan has completed developing new system within the state program for ICT progressing in Azerbaijan. Operations regarding new system have been performed on the basis of the agreement signed with Teleradio in July 2005.
Gazanfar Orujov, chief of department with the ITI, told Trend the said agreement mainly aims at developing modeling system for covering newly designed antenna-feeder units at radio and TV stations based on Geography Information System (GIS) technology.
The project stipulates software development for modeling and visualizing broadcasting areas with account for digital map of Azerbaijan SR- 4.
This system implementation will enable location of optimal place for radio and TV sensors installation. The foreign channels intrusion problem will be solved this way. In the closest time the system will be presented to PA Teleradio.
