Over the period of January-July 2006, the revenues of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan have exceeded AZN 104 million, an increase of AZN 23.2 mln from last year. The incomes from the payment of population were AZN 34 mln, which exceeds the last years figure by AZN 4.1 mln, Trend reports with reference to the same ministry.
Since the beginning of the year, the ministry has put approximately 125 thousand new telephone numbers into service. The investments for the reported period reached AZN 17069.3 thousand, the same source told.
