Azercell Installed 63 New Stations in Azerbaijan in August

Azercell Telecom JV continues to install stations thereby expanding its scope and providing high-quality telecommunication services in the Country. In August, 63 new stations were installed in the capital and regions of the Republic, 30 in Baku, 2 in Oguz, 3 in Lankaran, 3 in Lerik, 3 in Tartar, 3 in Masalli, 2 in Yevlakh, 2 in Barda and the remaining 15 stations in the territory of Sumgait city and districts of Shmakhi, Sheki, Hajigabul, Kurdamir, Apsheron, Nefchala, Agsu, Jalilabad, Sabirabad, Beylagan, Shamkir and Khanlar, Trend reports with reference to the Press Service of the company.

Overall the company has installed 208 new stations in the Country over a period of seven months in 2006. Plans are in hand to install 289 new stations by the end of this year. Increasing the number of antennas allows Azercell TeleСЃom JV subscribers who live in the regions to establish permanent and stable contacts not only within the Country, but also anywhere in the World.
