Today Azerbaijan has become one of the leaders in the economical space of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), the Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Russian Federation Boris Antonuk told on October 3 in the opening ceremony of the International Communications and & Information Technologies Exhibition BakuTel-2006, Trend reports.
According to him, the development is observed not only in common economy, but in its spheres, particularly in the sphere of communications and information technologies.
Today the preparation of two documents important for both countries is completed Agreement on co-operation in post and electronic communications and Intergovernmental Agreement on co-operation in regard with post and money transfers, Antonuk stressed.
Mentioning the importance of conducting BakuTel-2006 in Baku, Russian Deputy Minister said that 4% of participants are represented by Russian companies and this shows the development of relations between the two countries that have mutual interests.
