The Broadcasting and Frequency Department of the Scientific-Technical Council held a meeting at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan. The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council, Deputy Communications Minister, Iltimas Mammadov. He spoke about the work done in the IT sphere of the country, Trend reports with reference to the same Ministry. In addition, he mentioned the necessity of making accurate decision and devising normative and legal documents to effectively use the services of wireless technology.
According to Gulam Abdullayev, the Head Consultant of the Department of the Co-ordination of the Activities of the State Bodies, today works are being carried out to define the orbits for the satellite of Azerbaijan with International Telecommunication Union.
The meeting focused on the technical parameters of satellite. Preparing low-weight satellite was adopted as the best option. It was decided to prepare technical conditions and continue the discussions on this issue in the future meetings of the Council.
