A delegation of the Azerbaijan Telecommunications and IT Ministry has taken part in 6th Forum of Economic, Language, and Scientific Cooperation of the Turkic World, Trend reports referring to the Ministry. The event was held in Bishkek on November 15-18. Abulfaz Fattulayev, Director of the Project on Improvement of the Azerbaijani-English Machine Translation System implemented by the Azerbaijan Telecommunication Ministry jointly with UNDP, as well as Coordinators of the project participated at the event.
Azerbaijan was represented in the division of the Forum named Automatized Translation System. Mr. Fattulayev made a report on the topic Installation of the United Machine Translation for Turkic language States. Mr. Mekhtaliyev prepared a report on the topic Machine Translation system from Azerbaijani to English Dilmanc. Mr. Ahmadov gave a speech on the topic - Possibility on Installation of Joint System on development, Approaching, and Protecting of Turkic languages Due to Introducing Electronic Technologies.
The main aim of the Forum was the coordination of scientific researches in the sphere of linguistics, IT, economics, and culture among Turkic language states.
