On December 13, a meeting of the Heads of the Communications Administrations of CIS countries took place within the 36th meeting of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC).
The meeting brought together the delegations of the Communications Administrations of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, as well as representatives of the International Telecommunication Union, CIS Executive Committee, CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, etc., Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Russia.
Calling the actuality of the work held over the modernization of the normative-legal base in the field of commutations and information, the RCC approved joint actions of RCC and CIS Inter, asked CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly to accelerate devising the model laws On online trade and On online state services, etc.
RCC confirmed List of scientific-research works in the field of communications and information, jointly financed by the Communications Administrations and national communications operators of RCC in 2007.
Azerbaijan is represented at the meeting by the delegation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technologies, Ali Abbasov.
