HP Announced 2007 Plans for CIS Countries

Hewlett Packard (HP), world supplier of the key technologies for corporative customers and ultimate users announced its plans for 2007 for the CIS market, Trend reports.

The Head of the HP Department of Printing and Processing of Images and Department of Personal Computer System in CIS countries, Sergey Plaskin, said at the press-conference on December 19 that in 2007, the Company intends to actively participate in the projects of social importance, Trend reports.

Today, HP has worked out the program of presenting special pack of the modern technologies to the Education Ministry. This program will provide an opportunity for the Ministry to hold internal testing and research of hardware, as well as hold qualification raising courses. In addition, the Company intends to begin developing the University Relations program for interaction with the scientific organizations in the CIS countries.

Within the program, HP in CIS will co-operate with leading state universities and other several scientific organization.

In addition, HP will continue to actively support the State programs Electronic Government in CIS countries Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

In 2006, the revenues of the Company in CIS increased by 36% as comprised with previous year.
