The Ministry of Communication & Information Technology of Azerbaijan informed Trend that an Azerbaijani delegation will visit Sweden on 16-21 January, 2007 to attend a meeting on the establishment of the International Caspian IT University.
The delegation will include members of the organization committee on the establishment of the university.
In August 2006 the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology of Azerbaijan hosted a signing ceremony of a 5-year agreement protocol between the organizational committee for the creation of the Caspian International IT University and the Information Technology University Chalmers of Technological University located in Heteburg.
The document includes supporting the preparation for the creation of the University. The platform aims to instruct specialists with bachelor and master degrees, to create training for technical maintenance and educational programs, the training of highly-qualified scientific and academic staff, as well as creating the structure of materials and a technical base in accordance with multimedia and modern technology.
During the visit there are plans to discuss the further implementation of measures stipulated in the protocol.
