The revenues of PA Aztelekom of the Azerbaijan Telecommmunications and IT Ministry reached 102,7 mln. AZN. Trend reports referring to Muhammad Mammadov, the Director General of the Enterprise, the returns gained excelled the forecast on 18,3 mln. AZN (21,7%), that is on 12,7 mln. AZN or 14,2% more against the corresponding figures registered in 2005.
The Enterprise rendered services to the population to the sum of 43,4 mln. AZN. The forecast was fulfilled by 108,6%. This figure is on 2,6 mln. AZN of by 6,3% more versus the corresponding one of 2005.
To bring the level of installation of telephones to the average international standards, 70 thousand telephone lines were installed. Over 13 mln. AZN were allocated to the State Budget and the State Population Social Protection Fund. The amount of the investments put in 2006 reached 16,8 mln. AZN. Due to the investments, new telecommunication facilities were put into operation all over the country.
