Azercell Conclude Roaming Agreements with Indian Mobile Operators

Azercell Telecom JV and three Indian companies BhartiAirtel вЂ" Karnataka, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh put into operation one-sided (Azercell subscribers in BhartiAirtel's network) international roaming communication. This is the 15th roaming agreement between Azercell and BhartiAirtel, Trend reports. In general Azercell cooperates with 5 companies of Indian network вЂ" Sterling Cellular, Hutchison Max Telecom (Orange), BPL Cellular Limited, BPL Mobile Communications and Bharti (Airtel) Cellular. So far, Azercell has concluded 314 roaming agreements with mobile communication operators from 135 countries around the world. Azercell Telecom was founded on January 19, 1996, between Turkcell ГќletiГѕim Hizmetleri A. S. and Ministry of Communications of Azerbaijan Republic. Azercell Telecom set up its activities on December 15, 1996 through offering subscribers mobile telecommunications services based on postpaid system. In 1998 Company set up prepaid system вЂ" SimSim.
