Azerbaijan is expected to participate in the regular 24th joint sitting of the Commission for Regional Cooperation in Telecommunication and Mail Service Fields and 13th sitting of the Council of Mail Service Operators, a source in the Azerbaijani Telecommunication and IT Ministry told Trend.
Novruz Mammadov, the Head of the Postal Sector of the Department for the Coordination of the Activity of Offices of the Azerbaijan Telecommunication Ministry, specialists representing the State-run Enterprise вЂ" Azerpocht, are expected to attend both meetings. The forthcoming meetings will be held in Kiev in April, 2007. The last corresponding meetings were held in Baku in September, 2006. Leading specialists representing the mail services of the Telecommunication Ministers of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, as well as the Executive Commission of the Commission for Regional Cooperation in Telecommunication and Mail Service Fields, consisting of 40 people took part in the meeting.
